Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia even in Southeast Asia. This temple is also known as the Roro Jongrang Temple which was established around 850 AD by the Sanjaya dynasty. By UNESCO since 1991, this temple was designated as a world cultural heritage that must be protected by its existence. Prambanan Temple is also called Roro Jongrang Temple because it is related to a legend that is believed to be believed by some Javanese people. The legend tells of a prince named Bandung Bondowoso who fell in love with a daughter named Roro Jongrang. Because the princess has no power to refuse her love, the princess proposes conditions that must be fulfilled by Bandung Bondowoso, which is to make temples with 1,000 statues overnight. Roro Jongrang's request was fulfilled and almost fulfilled one night until finally Roro Jongrang asked the help of the villagers to pound the rice so that he could roost the rooster so that it crowed, indicating that it was morning. But Bandung Bondowoso knew that being cheated which at that time had completed 999 statues, which later condemned Roro Jongrang to become the 1,000th statue.
